Sporting History:	When I was about 8 I started Sailing and noticed some people kayaking at the same place. I decided to give it a go and I was told I was a natural and it all started from there.
Length of Experience:	14 years (although had 2 years off due to glandular fever).
Coach:	Marianne Brown and Roger Davey.
Greatest Achievements:	My highest achievements were in 2005 when I competed at the European Championship Sprints in Bulgaria - this was a high level of achievement for my age, a tender 17 years. I also competed at the World Championship Sprints in Hungary where I was ranked 23rd fastest Junior Sprint racer in the World and 11th fastest in Europe. I have also won numerous national titles as well as winning at international events. Currently among Top 5 U23 Females in Great Britain at Sprint Racing in K1. Currently among Top 5 Senior Females in Great Britain at Marathon Racing in K1. Currently the fastest Senior Female crew in Great Britain at Marathon Racing in K2. Currently the fastest Mixed crew in Great Britain with Aaron Jordan at Marathon Racing in K2. Currently the fastest Female in Essex and Kent. Currently British Indoor Kayaking Champion at 200m.
Hopes or Aspirations:	I hope to one day compete at the Olympics.
Proudest Moment:	My proudest moment was carrying the Great Britain Flag at the European Sprints in Bulgaria

Sponsorship Enquiries

How often do you train?:	I train 12-14 times a week my training schedule includes paddling on the river, weights, swimming and running
What would sponsorship money mean to you?:	It would be very helpful to me as I do not get lottery funding. Specialised equipment, clothing, travelling etc is very expensive.
What would you say to a potential sponsor?:	I would let them know I would be willing to help advertise and promote their business in different ways such as on my boat or paddles and be extremely grateful of their help.
Who is your hero?:	Natasa Janics (Hungarian Kayaker/ Olympian), Alison Thorogood (GB Kayaker/ Olympian) and Dame Kelly Holmes
What advice would you like to give to other athletes?:	Anything is possible never give up!
What do you enjoy most about your sport?:	I love being outdoors and meeting new people I am also a very competitive person and I love competing
Do you currently receive sponsorship?:	Not at the moment.
Any other final comments:	My greatest ambition is to compete at the Olympic Games, Dame Kelly Holmes has highlighted me as “a young canoeist who is defiantly one for the future” I hope to prove Dame Kelly Holmes right and prove myself I can achieve what I want to.
