Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the website you must:
  • Be over 11 years of age
  • Receive written parental permission if you are under the age of 18
  • Currently be a member of a national team or squad
  • Currently be listed in the top 10 of any national age ranking
  • Have finished within the top 10 in any national age group competition in the last 12 months
  • Live, work, go to school or train in the borough of Maidstone
  • Your sport must feature in the Olympics
You’ll be taken off the website if:
  • You are tested positive for drug misuse.
  • You have to withdraw from your sport through injury.
You must maintain security of password and identification and be fully responsible for the content of your account and any actions that take place using your account. This includes uploading obscene, threatening or otherwise objectionable materials, or inaccurate or deliberately misleading information, breaking this may result in you being removed from the site.

Maidstone Borough Council reserves the right, at our sole discretion to change, modify, add or delete portions of these terms and conditions or profile information at any time without further notice. If we do this we will inform you.

Pictures and information on the website may be used for publicity purposes.

If anyone under 18 is on the website they must obtain parental permission beforehand, this must go through Maidstone Borough Council.

Athletes/teams are required to inform Maidstone Borough Council when they have been sponsored, if athletes/teams are sponsored more than once, at any time, they must inform all parties involved.

Athletes/teams may be required to show businesses how they have used their sponsorship money, so should keep record of expenditure.

Athletes/teams sponsorship money can be used for various things including travel, equipment or training costs as long as the business agrees this is where the money is spent.

Athletes/teams must keep any businesses sponsoring them informed of up-to-date information regarding competitions.

By registering with the website you have agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Disclaimer: Maidstone Borough Council cannot be held responsible for false claims of achievement by athletes.  Sponsors should satisfy themselves that the claims of achievements of athletes are true before sponsoring them.
